Welcome to Our Waterfront Cottage with Amazing Views!

This waterfront cottage has a sand beach, is on the water (bay of Green Bay) and has amazing views! It is only 13 minutes to Lambeau Field, 17 minutes to the Door County line and 37 minutes to Sturgeon Bay. Bay Beach, Children’s Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary are within 1.5 miles as well. The entire bay is also a PRIME fishing area.

You get access to our “Family Fun Shed” with kayaks, bikes, strollers and outdoor games for you to use, at no charge! We are also child and dog friendly as well!

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: We have 3 total bedrooms. 5 Queen beds in total, 2 are part of a bunk bed and 1 a pull out couch. There is also a large pack-n-play in the closet for babies to sleep in as well. The bedrooms all have room darkening shades too.

IF YOU COME IN THE WINTER, THERE IS PLENTY TO DO:
1. GREAT ice fishing all around the area
2. Lambeau Titletown Ice Skating Rink -located by Lambeau Field
3. Lots of hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing in Door County with trails at Potawatomi State Park and “Crossroads at Big Creek”  located at 2041 Michigan St, Sturgeon Bay.
4. Tubing at Arien’s Hill or Baird’s Creek Hill

With or without kids anyone can have a relaxing lake experience here. if you have kids though this place is set to help you make it easier. some toys the crib and pack n play makes the roadtrip much easier to pack for. One floor with a small step into 2 rooms was really helpful to have the little one roam safely and practice steps in sight and under supervision. Definitely recommending to my family and friends that have kids. O yeah and it’s 15 mins max into Sturgeon bay for any needed supplies or restaurants.

Really enjoyed the place and I think we will consider coming back. We enjoyed the privacy while still being relatively close to most of the places we enjoy in Door County. Host was flexible about our dogs which was appreciated. Highly recommend!

We had a very relaxing vacation and Rick was an amazing host! We’ll be back annually for our ice fishing trip. Just needed some ice this year! It was a little too warm for “Ice” on the Bay. Bummer!!!! 50 lbs of white fish is our average, but we’ve got to be able to get on the ice to fish 😉 instead this year we hung out at Rick’s place. it was nice!

Enjoyed our stay at another Rise & Shine Retreats rental! Highlights include cooking in the fully stocked kitchen and watching the whitetail deer visit the front yard in the morning while drinking coffee by the wood burning stove. Neighbors were present but sparse and friendly. Loved hearing the wind and waves from the backyard and it is a nice walk to the public access down the road. Good sized Pick & Save in downtown Sturgeon Bay had all the groceries we needed but we do recommend taking a short (20 min) drive to the Mill Supper Club for a tasty meal with excellent service. We stayed here while visiting family in Green Bay and it was an easy commute.

Rick was responsive and easy to get a hold of during our stay. Excellent and clean place matched the description and kitchen had everything you needed to cook. So many towels and places to sleep and enough toiletries. Games consoles were the icing on the cake and we didn’t want to leave! We are definitely coming back! This place was a gem, area super quiet and so close to the beach!

Great place to get away for a bit. Our family enjoyed a restful weekend away from the hustle and bustle of life. I loved the home layout, lots of games to enjoy and just felt like a home away from home. Grateful to Rick for making this place a wonderful place to stay.

This was the most beautiful place for my family of 4 to have our intimate Thanksgiving getaway. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, the kitchen was well stocked with amenities and supplies, and there were even a whole big shelf of toys and books for my children (5 and 2 year old). The location was tucked away in the most beautiful and serene surroundings. Rick was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We will definitely stay here again for our next visit to Door County!

Guest Access
You will enter the cottage using an electronic key code and will have access to the entire cottage, outdoor area, water access, “Family Fun Shed” and the full .6+ acre parcel.

CLEANING:
The cleaning fee is to prepare the home for your arrival. Including laundering of all beds, sanitation and disinfection of with shower, toilets, and floor mats, and laundering of towels all for every guest. The cleaning fee covers the proper sanitation guidelines of COVID-19 for cleaning and vacuuming floors, kitchens, and bathrooms. The cleaning fee also includes the organization of rooms and storage areas, inventory check, window cleanings, plus buying and stocking essential items for your stay.

Upon check-out, do not leave the property destroyed. You will incur additional charges if there are stains and messes beyond a standard cleaning time, if you break or damage items, or if you fail to return items you use back to the original storage areas. This is our family cottage and we like to keep it as nice as possible!

PETS: 1 Dog may be allowed for a fee. Additional dogs may be negotiated.
1. Please do not allow them on the furniture
2. Accidents happen but please disinfect immediately and clean completely.
3. Clean up after your dog on the outside yard and toss in the garbage.
4. We ask that if your dog does bark a lot to not bring them. So we can be respectful to our neighbors trying to enjoy their cottages.
5. If your pet does damage something please let us know.
6. If your dog has a history of peeing inside please do not bring them.
7. If your dog has a history of biting they are not allowed on the property whatsoever, and we do not take any liability for issues.
8. Please either tie dogs up or crate them if you leave for the day so they don’t have accidents inside.
9. We will have a dog water/food dishes, dog leashes and one dog bed.

• OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
• Bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid
• PLEASE be respectful of the neighbors for noise and outdoor lights on at night.
• Noise ordinance is enforced by the town and quiet hours are 10pm to 7am Sunday thru Thursday and 11pm to 7am on Friday and Saturday
• No illegal activity including no drugs and no underage drinking.
• The WiFi has been good and reliable. However, please don’t write a bad review because of WiFi access issues.
• Absolutely no smoking inside the cottage. You can smoke on the patio but please keep the area clean of used cigarettes
•  No glitter or confetti inside the property and please try and keep sand/water out.
• NO Fireworks to be used on the premises.

No refunds of any kind will be issued due to things we cannot control.
